As we begin to think about how we as a company scale to reach that next level, one where we’re a true infrastructure solution in this market, it becomes clear that each team will need to go through a transformation from the top down to adapt to the ever changing needs of their organization.

One of the groups that will look the most dramatically different from where it is today is our Platform Operations team. We spent time these past few weeks to ideate on what this team will look like in a year, two years, and three years down the line. We walked through this vision with the team in a Zoom call earlier this week, which you can watch here or read through the presentation on your own.

At its core, we can look to the public markets for inspiration as they have an established framework for Exchanges and Clearinghouses, Trustee Banks, and DTC. To meet the needs of their diverse ecosystem of participants, all three of these groups work together to ensure all parties can find each other, transact, and move money. No parallel exists today in the private markets and as a result, if we are to be successful, our Platform Operations division will need to fill that gap, with Cash Management,  Settlements, and Client Services teams built out to support every part of the transaction to ensure best execution.

This will be no small feat and one that each group will have to undergo as we begin to scale. Exciting times are in front of us as we strive to reach that next level.
