Reinventing ourselves

As we move the Series B towards a close, the next phase of our company's life becomes all the more exciting but also all the more critical. The strategic decisions and moves we make in the coming months will reverberate over the next few years, having material implications for our future success.
We have an inherently complex business - a marketplace, a software solution, a data business, and it is arguably one that is too complex for a company of our size and stage. A capital infusion like our Series B rewards us with a renewed opportunity to focus and capitalize on what is working in each of the three component parts. The next few weeks will require an in-depth deep dive by the management team into each component of our business and mapping out a path forward to the $[ ] in revenue in 2023. Once that's locked in, it will be presented to the board for approval and put into action.
You are all on the front lines, hearing and seeing what goes on with borrowers, underwriters, and investors. You've seen the pain points that we're addressing but I'm certain you also see the areas of opportunity. No ideas are bad ideas, nothing is off the table, so I encourage you to share any thoughts you've been having with your manager about how we can improve our business and we'll incorporate it into the conversations over the next few weeks.
