Team, vision, product.... and revenue

As you heard in the all-hands on Friday, we've had tremendously positive feedback from VCs about our team, our vision, and everything we've built so far. The only pushback we've gotten has been around revenues, even though we've been limited by what we can do as the only underwriter on the platform to date. The past few years have spent experimenting, finding product market fit, and validating our vision with underwriters, investors, and borrowers alike, getting us to where we are today and building a fantastic foundation for our vision. The next few years have to be about how we turn that vision into a reality.

Revenue is the name of the game for 2022 and each and every one of you can do your part to make it possible. For the Capital Markets team, you have a direct line of sight into how we generate our revenues as we bring more deals to market and work with our future third party underwriters to help them structure and syndicate deals. For the Credit team, work closely with the Capital Markets team to bring more borrowers into market, whether they are securitized products or venture loans, and find new ways to monetize our data as a data agent. For the Marketing team, every ad you run, every piece of content you write, every event we sponsor, drives new investors and borrowers into our ecosystem to help close deals. For the Platform Operations team, every conversation you have with an investor and every transaction you help close delivers more confidence in our platform and what we can do, bringing more capital inflows into our ecosystem. For the Product and Engineering teams, work closely with our client-facing teams to prioritize features that can drive more revenue into the door, whether that's deal management for third party underwriters or standing up [ ] to be client-ready. For the Corporate Operations team, everything you do should help bring more efficiency and productivity to all of our various other teams.

A company can only go as far as their team can take it and this is our year to solve this last piece of the puzzle.
