A new us

Our last two big objectives ahead of our Series B are going to be announced this week, putting an exclamation on what has been one of the most impressive months in our company's history. Both of these types of initiatives normally take up to 6 months or more to complete and we managed to pull them off in less than 3. This week you will see the press release go out about our acquisition of [ ] technology from MidCap Financial, the subsidiary of Apollo, and the release of our new brand identity across all our marketing channels (website, social, etc.). 

While the engineering team has been hard at work to get the [ ] technology back up and running, it will be some time before we can demo the platform and its fully capability set. Still, it is an integral part of our story and our future. By the end of this year, we will likely be able to do real-time surveillance on a commercial bank lender's portfolio, monitoring the health of their borrowers and their loans in real time. This is a material improvement over what our Credit team has to do today, spending hours developing and creating surveillance reports on a daily and weekly basis for all of our originators. Although we may start with commercial and regional banks, a lender is a lender and the long term objective will be to bring this level of real-time analytics to our fintech originators as well. Announcing this acquisition is the first step but we are well on our way towards realizing this broader vision.

The impact of our rebrand will be immediately felt across our business. It feels like yesterday that we were in our old office at 86 Chambers talking through the moodboards and color palette options before settling on this current design. For anyone looking for a blast from the past, this was one of the first rounds of the moodboard in May 2018! Nearly 4 years later, our brand has been in dire need of a refresh and I could not be more excited to finally launch this rebrand. It's modern, it's elegantly minimal, and most importantly, it embodies our mission and our vision to be a true fintech company delivering on true innovations in capital markets.
