Rising to the occasion

Coming out of our all-hands on Friday, our objectives for the next month leading into the rest of the year are more clear than ever. I encourage all of you to look at these 2022 Strategic Initiatives in detail, either in PDF form or on Monday. Above all else, what's important to highlight is just how important each and every one of you are in bringing these objectives to life. Within all of those objectives are several key projects that perhaps your team has been tagged on, but more importantly it's likely a project that only you know how to do best and will be your chance to shine by showcasing your talent to your team, the firm, and our clients and ultimately our investors. This is one of those rare opportunities in our professional lives where our contributions have a direct impact on our collective success, and I can't wait to see us all rise to the occasion.

We are a special group of individuals that have banded together to pursue a vision that's as lofty as they come. When all is said and done, I truly believe that we can and will have a hand in every private market transaction, whether it's because we helped source it, we provided the tools to help structure it, we helped syndicate it to investors, or we're being looked to for surveillance of the transaction. To get there, we need to prove a few things out for ourselves and to VCs, but we are so close to delivering on our promise to create a vibrant ecosystem in this market for the very first time. This is the year where it all becomes possible and this is our year to make it count.
